Control Panel > System > Remote tab
ensure that neither
"Allow Remote Assistance invitations to be sent from this computer"
"Allow users to connect remotely to this computer"
Control Panel > Windows Firewall > exceptions tab
review the list of items under "Programs and services" and ensure that the only items that are there AND checked are application that you WANT to have the ability to pass through the Windows firewall
