k-lite codec pack is it safe?

Hello there!

I installed jetaudio player & the sound doesn't work, so download k-lite codec pack & now its working.

My question is that (is it safe to use it with window xp?)

My recommendation would be to uninstall both JetAudio Player and K-Lite Codecs Pack and replace with VLC Media Player. There's no need to install a codecs package.

I'm not sure, but the programs you installed may have come bundled with other unwanted and/or unneeded software. Therefore I would also suggest using Malwarebytes Antimalware (Free Edition), AdwCleaner and JRT to remove the extra software that may have been installed.
