Reinstalled Windows XP on my MAC, can't connect to Wireless Network and therefore internet

Have gone through setup Wizards several times, unfortunately entered old encryption key.. on Network Connections window shows a 1394 Connection (which looks wired).  Cant get to window which scans for wireless networks in reach, doesn't show option for viewing ... Have reconnected this laptop through my Linksys control panel, which shows the laptop still but as offline. I'm about to throw it out the window -Help!
Are you using Boot Camp for a dual-boot? If yes, you don't want to use any drivers except Apple's. After you finish the Boot Camp install and are logged into Windows, put your OS X disc in the drive and install the Boot Camp drivers. The 1394 Connection is not for your wireless or your ethernet (wired) but for Firewire and it has nothing to do with your Internet connection. If you are running XP in a virtual machine using Parallels or VMware instead of Boot Camp, please post back.
