Connecting to 127.0.0.1. how to stop this dialog box from popping up

Connect to 127.0.0.1 and the other is Authentication required.
(A username and password are being requested by http://127.0.0.1. The site says: "127.0.0.1")
The both of them are asking for username and password.
How can I disable them and/or stopping them from popping up?
Quite odd, considering that 127.0.0.1 is the "loopback" address for your own computer (localhost).

Under what circumstances do you get this error message?

What version of Windows are you using, including service pack?

What browser, including version, are you using?

When I encountered that problem, it was after I had changed my Firewall software to one offered by Comodo. When installing that software, I was given the "opporttunity" to use their DNS provider service.
I wound up uninstalling the Comodo firewall, but I think it was restoring my DNS service to the default Windows settings that made the 127.0.0.1 popup go away.

One more thing, I had Comodo Internet Security suite, and I deleted that, still have the problem. I went into REGEDIT and deleted all references to the email address which the dialog is asking for a password for, still have the problem. I read that this was related to a setting with the DNS, related to my Firewall. I restarted my computer after I did each of these things.

The dialog seems to arise sporadically, but mostly when I use a program which uses the internet, like Outlook, Google Chrome.

Here is guide to setting DNS server settings and restoring them to default.

http://mintywhite.com/windows-7/change-dns-server-windows-7/

Restoring them to default "Obtain DNS server address automatically" cured my problem.
