No Memory whatsoever on my hard drive after installing windows xp.

I have recently re installed windows xp on my windows xp Presario SR1303WM and I dont have ANY memory on my hard drive.  I have done disk defragment and that stuff.  But I can't install anything on this computer.  I cant even install Service Pack 3.  I really need help and I need it soon! Thanks!!

It helps if you use proper terminology.  "Memory" usually refers to RAM and "space" usually refers to the storage capacity of a hard drive.

Please describe exactly what you did to re-install Windows (step by step).

Open My Computer to get a screen like this --> http://forums.techguy.org/attachments/210703d1340287944/my_computer_p.jpg

Right-click on each icon under "Hard Disk Drives" and select Properties.  You should see something like this --> http://www.staysmartonline.gov.au/__data/assets/image/0018/20196/xp_disk_properties.png

For each drive, report what is shown for
  • Used Space
  • Free Space
  • Capacity
