Protect Yourself From Tech Support Scams
Tech support scams are an industry-wide issue where scammers trick you into paying for unnecessary
technical support services. You can help protect yourself from scammers by verifying that the contact is a
Microsoft Agent or
Microsoft Employee and that the phone number is an
official
Microsoft global customer service number.
I cannot get my printer to work. It will not print anything It is on and connected but will not print,. An error sign appears when I click on printers and devices and says a document is keeping the printer from printing, however, that is the doc i just
tried to print, so I cancel it and then it shows the printer is ready, But when I try again, thesame thing happens.

Start by clearing the printer queue. If this does not work, post back with the complete error message, the make and model of the printer, how it is connected to your computer, and the version of Windows you have, including service pack.
Clean out the pending print jobs
Open a Command Prompt window (Start > Run > cmd > OK)
Type the following in the black Command Prompt window and press Enter after each line (don't forget the double quote marks)
net stop spooler
del /Q "%windir%\system32\spool\PRINTERS\*.*"
net start spooler
exit
