Hi Tomt066,

1. When exactly are you getting this error?

2. When did the issue start?

3. Do you remember making any changes to the computer prior to this issue?

Iedkcs32.dll error notifications may appear while using or installing certain programs, when Windows startup or even shutdown. Iedkcs32.dll errors are caused by situations that lead to the removal or corruption of the iedkcs32.dll.

Step 1:

You may try to boot in safe mode and see if the error occurs.

You may refer the following link to boot in Safe mode.

Step 2:

If the issue doesn’t occur in safe mode, then you may try performing a clean boot. A clean boot helps to verify if any third party application services or startup item is causing this issue.

You may refer the following KB article to put the computer in clean boot:

If your issue is resolved after performing Clean Boot, then follow the steps mentioned in the above KB article to narrow down the exact source.

After you used the clean boot to resolve your problem, you can follow the steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

Hope this information is helpful.
