I have xp on a 10+ year old computer, am thinking of upgrading to Windows 7. How will I be able to read/print all my xp word docs?

will I have to get another program to be able to read all my xp files such as in Word format?

Before you begin, you should run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor:

Be aware there is no such thing as an "upgrade" from Windows XP to Windows 7 - it will be what is called a clean install, programs and settings will be lost during the upgrade.  You can use the Windows Easy Transfer tool to gather files and such first:
