How to restore My Computer folder contents back to the default format in Windows XP?

Dear Sir or Madam:

I have a Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 3 desktop computer.

My Computer folder contents is not in the correct format I want it to be in; it is corrupted.

How can I restore the My Computer folder contents back to the original format?

The first JPEG image is the current My Computer folder contents which has the corrupted display format.

The second JPEG image is the original My Computer folder contents which is in the correct display format.

Please reply back soon.

Thanks.

Answer
Looks like you have View | Arrange Icons By | Name. Try Arrange By Type and the other choices while keeping Arrange Icons By | Show In Groups also checked.
