what is the registry key or files to change the disk space option in offline files in windows xp and 8

hi,
      will anybody please solve my problem  what is the registry key or any files is going to effect when we change the amount of disk space used to store in offline files option when we go to control pane -->sync-->manageofflinefiles in win 8 where as this option is present in folder options in winxp
