I keep getting this message: "You may be a victim of software counterfeiting" (referring to Microsoft Windows). I have had this computer for years and my system has been valadated before without any problems. Why am I getting this message after all of these years. Also I have moved a few times, so I don't know where my packet with the the discs or paperwork. What should I do to fix this. Thanks in advance.

What do you get from this site if you try the Validation test?

Failed validation? These scenarios may help to explain why.

You can run the Windows Product Activation wizard by clicking Start, then Run, and type in "oobe/msoobe /a" (less quotes). It will tell you if it's activated or not.
