MAPI error message while exporting from Windows Mail
I am trying to export mail from Outlook Express to Outlook 2007. After sucessfully exporting from Outlook Express to Windows Mail I have been unable to export to Outlook. After selecting Microsoft Exchange as my format this message pops up: The export
could not be performed. An error occurred while initializing MAPI. I've tryed changing the MAPI settings but with no luck. My computer uses Windows Vista SP1.

The error means that Outlook is not installed and setup (it is the missing MAPI client). Outlook and Windows Mail must be installed and setup on the same machine. Outlook must have a profile defined and it must have a Personal Folder (.pst file) or an
Exchange Mailbox attached to the profile. Outlook may also need to be set as the default email client.
