How to uninstall 'windows powershell'

Recently had to replace the hard drive and now want to re-install using the 're-install' disc. Through windows its requesting to un-install 'powershell' in order to procede.

Sorry but Im clueless to what to do because its not in add/remove programs listing....HELP!!!

How to uninstall Windows PowerShell

To uninstall Windows PowerShell 1.0 in Windows Vista, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, in the Start Search box, type appwiz.cpl, and then press ENTER.
  2. In the list of tasks, click View Installed Updates.
  3. In the Uninstall an update list, right-click Windows PowerShell(TM) 1.0 (KB928439), click Uninstall, and then follow the instructions to remove Windows PowerShell 1.0.

To disable Windows PowerShell 1.0, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, in the Start Search box, type appwiz.cpl, and then press ENTER.
  2. In the list of tasks, click Turn Windows features on or off.
  3. Click to clear the check box for Windows PowerShell.
