Do you have any previous versions of Turbotax installed on your computer?

If you have any previous versions of the software then I would suggest you to uninstall it and then check if the issue is resolved.

If that does not work you may copy the installation CD to your hard drive and then check if you can install it successfully.

You may try disabling the antivirus/firewall and check if it is working. If it works, please contact the security program manufacturer for further assistance.

Note: Running the computer without firewall or the anti-virus software is potential threat to the computer; make sure to enable the security software’s after completing the troubleshooting and identifying the issue.
