IM TRYING TO RE-INSTALL WINDOWS VISTA ON MY GATEWAY T-6321 BUT WHEN I INSERT THE DISK, AND INSTALL IT, A MESSAGE COMES UP SAYING : WINDOWS CANNOT OPEN THE REQUIERED FILE D:\Sources\Install.wim. Make sure all files requiered for installation aare available,

·Is this a recovery or reinstall disk you are using?
·When exactly do you get this error message?
·What is the edition of Windows Vista you are trying to install?
·How old is the disk that you are using?
·How are you starting the installation process?
Based on my research the error code 0x8007000D basically is due to file corruption and a problem with the disk itself.
First check if you have scratches or dirt on the disk and clean the surface and try again.
To check if the disk is gone bad you need to copy the contents of the DVD onto the hard drive and try installing using that.
To perform a flat installation of Windows Vista, follow these steps.
