I tried to start up in Safe Mode using F8. It asked for password which is lost. I tried what I thought was password a few times and eventually got Fatal Error... System halted message. CD won't open to insert disk.
You can try opening the cd drive by using th pinhole on the front of the drive which will manually open the tray to insert a disk. If you can get the disk in the system try to boot with the disk in the drive to access the Startup Repair.
