STOP: 0×0000007B on Vista

  1. I keep getting this error when I try to start Vista after a new install. (I've tried both Vista Home Premium and Vista Ultimate. The Xp version of this error states that it's inccessible boot drive. Is it the same for Vista? I've tried booting with just one hard drive and one DVD drive, but I'm still getting it.

Hello Inspired_Art,

Thank you for posting.  It seems that you may have a hardware problem with your ram.  The error that you received is usually related to Ram issues.  Are you trying to install a 32 bit version of Vista with more than 4 gigs of ram on your computer?  Also does all of your installed ram show up in your BIOS.  If you have more than 4 gigs of ram on your computer then I would recommend removing some ram to get it under 4 gigs.

Please check these and let me know how I may be of more service to you.
