To be able to troubleshoot what might be causing your system to crash, we need the dump files. In an ideal situation, more than one file would be needed to establish a pattern so if you do have more than one, please upload them.
Please refer to the link below for steps to retrieve, zip and upload them to the file sharing site like onedrive, google's "dropbox, etc.
When you are done, make the folder public and share the link here.

Couldn't create a minidump file.
(In win 8 you can use the windows key "win" + "s")
Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings button.
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the drop down box (the 256kb varies).
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.
If minidumps are still not being created check these reasons as to why that may be happening
For dumps to be produced The following should be correct
Page file must be on the same drive as your operating system
Page file base allocation size must be greater than installed physical RAM
Windows Error Reporting (WER) system service should be set to MANUAL
Set page file to system managed on the OS drive
Set system crash/recovery options to "kernel memory dump"
User account control must be running.
SometimesSSD drives with older firmware do not create DMPS (update firmware)
Cleaner applications like Ccleaner delete DMP files so dont run them until you are fixed

I changed the settings in Startup and Recovery, restarted and no minidump folder appeared.
Don't know what "Page must be on the same drive as your operating system" refers to but my HD is not partitioned.
Looked at the Page File and it's larger than my RAM.
Checked WER and it seems to be on and set to automatic.
Don't know what "Set page file to system managed on the OS" refers to.
Don't know what Set system crash/recovery options to "kernel memory dump" is although a Google search led me back to Startup and Recovery settings.
I'm the only user.
I did read several places that sometimes a dump doesn't occur.

Navigate to where the file was saved to, and upload the generated text file to a public folder on your OneDrive account and post the link here.

Malwarebytes, which I use, was clean. It did, however, find a Optimizer Pro folder from July a few days ago that it hadn't before. I removed it and thought it could be related to my issue but doubted it as the folder didn't seem to have anything working in my system. (I was aware unwanted malware was installed on my PC such as Rocket, OPtimizer Pro and some others when I downloaded a program from a source that I thought wouldn't do that. Needless to say I was upset and did try to clean all that stuff off my computer. )

Did a sfc /scannow and was told there were problems but they couldn't be repaired.
Edit: Got the sfc details and the problem files seem to be a common issue as is discussed on this forum here.
