Hi Abysmal28,

1. Any recent software/hardware changes on your computer?

As the error message states that the programs and applications are not designed for the version of operating system installed on your computer, I suggest you to check for the compatibility of the applications or programs before installing them on your computer.

Method 1:

I would suggest you to uninstall Yahoo messenger and Google chrome and reinstall the applications from the link below and see if that makes any difference.

Refer:

Uninstall or change a program
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Uninstall-or-change-a-program

To download the yahoo messenger
http://messenger.yahoo.com/download/

To download the Google chrome

Visit:
http://www.google.com/chrome/index.html?hl=en&brand=CHMA&utm_campaign=en&utm_source=en-ha-na-us-bk&utm_medium=ha

Method 2:

I would recommend you to perform clean boot.

Putting your system in clean boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue. If yes, you may have to contact the program manufacturer for any updates or uninstall and re-install the program.

Refer the following Microsoft KB article for more information on how to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7:

Note: After troubleshooting, make sure to put the computer to start as usual as mentioned in Step 7 in the above KB article.
