Question

Q: Windows Remote Assistance "Wrong Password" Bug?

Hi all,
Over the pass few days I've encounter some weird problem with my Windows Remote Assistance.
It was working correctly few months back until today. Here's the problem;

1) My friend request an assistance via WLM (Windows Live Messenger).
2) I accept it.
3) He entered the "Password" that remote assistance usually asked.
4) He PM me the password on my msn.
5) The Windows Remote Assistance program will now pop-up on my side, and will ask for the password.

Here's where the problem lies... I typed in the correct password as what my friend mention but yet Windows Remote Assistance keeps rejecting the password as if the password is wrong.

And NO, I could NOT have mistype and NO, the Password is not cAsE-SeNsiTiviTy, password is simple as "12345".

I still got rejected by my other friends for wrong password as well.

So please, help me out here.
Thanks.

A:

sorry man, I'm stumped too :(

Until you find a resolution, may I suggest you use something like TeamViewer!?

Did this solve your problem?
