NTuser.dat log and dat.files

I am having performance problems and in troubleshooting, have found that in C: my computer/users

There is my PC- ntuserdat. log and dat. files

also, public user- same ntuser files

Default- same ntuser files

and that user:me has an app data.local folder that has only 2 more files than

me-pc user which has the same exact local app data files minus two hp files.

I also seem to have 2 keyboards, moniters, winstock, memory addresses, and such. The performace is bad! I think it is all to these user accounts. Weird, being I am the only user and only have 1 account-me. How do I fix this? I have tried  defrag, disk clean up, health reports, and seeing what is in my system. please someone help me. This is a hp pavilion 32bit, windows vista sp2

I would backup several times using different methods such as a couple of backups to the
external and also backup important data to DVD - safety in numbers. Then re-install Windows
as it came on the system. Upgrading would not be prudent and may not work with a system
that is having problems.

Your system as it is now might be repairable without re-installation by technical support
however a fresh install should also fix these probelms.
