Check your system's clock.  If your CMOS battery goes dead and your clock goes back to a default (like 1999 or 2002) then all certificates will be invalid because your computer's idea of when "now" is will predate the actual release date of the certificate, so it won't yet be valid.

Answer

fastest way to fix!!! #1 check your Date and Time make sure they are exactly right for your time zone. if that is not the issue then go to. Start > Control Panel > Network and internet (may need to skip this one based on OS ) > internet options.

In internet properties (options) go to the Advanced tab. (make sure you don't have any browsers open) at the bottom there is a button ( Reset ) click that. then a popup will come up hit reset. i suggest ( delete personal settings ) checked. then hit ( reset ) after that. close everything that you may have open and restart your computer if it doesn't do that already.
