Mass Edit .mp3 Properties

To take a whole list of mp3 files and mass-edit all of their properties (rating, artist, album, genre, etc.)

Hi,

Yes you can do mass edit on mp3 files. Let’s follow these steps to do so:

1.Select the mp3 files which you want to edit.

2.Right click > click Properties.

3.Click on Details tab.

4.Edit the metadata or file information of whichever you want.

5. Click on Apply, Ok.

To take a whole list of mp3 files and mass-edit all of their properties (rating, artist, album, genre, etc.)

Try selecting (highlighting) all the MP3s you wish to edit...
Right click the selected group and from the menu...choose...
Properties / Summary tab / Advanced button...

Select (highlight) one of the choices below Music or Description...
and begin typing. This will update all of the selected MP3 files.
