Q: iTunes has detected a problem with your audio configuration. Audio/Video playback may not operate properly. This thread is locked from future replies

I have this come up when I open iTunes. I have searched for answers, checked the driver, checked that the speakers are enabled. Nothing has helped.

1)   Was it working fine before?

2)   Do you recall making any changes to the computer prior to this issue?

3)   Is this issue confined only to ITunes?

4)   Do you have sound on your computer?

Method 1: Run the fixit available in the link below and check if that makes any difference

Method 2: You follow the steps mentioned in the Apple’s link below which addresses similar issue

"ITunes cannot run because it has detected a problem with your audio configuration"
