Hi Markus1967,

·        Which software are you using to burn images?

Method 1:

First try to uninstall the CD\DVD drive and re-install the same and check if that works fine.

To uninstall device

1. Click on Start menu, type in devmgmt.msc to open the Device Manager.

2. The Device Manager will then display a list of installed devices in the right pane of the console.

3. Expand the category for CD\DVD device.

4. Right-click the device and select Uninstall.

A dialog box will pop up asking you to confirm ‘Uninstall’. Click OK to proceed.

Restart the computer and check if things are in place.

Method 2:

You may also try updating the firmware for the CD\DVD drive from the manufacturer’s website.

Note: Updating your firmware can be risky business, even if the update comes from the manufacturer of your drive. Improper firmware for your drive can, and usually does, result in destruction of the drive.

Also, if you are using any third party software to burn disks, I would suggest you to try burning the same using Windows Explorer or Windows Media Player.
