error message C00D1199 while using Windows Media Player

I'm having a problem getting video playback at all with any of the video I took with my camera. I never used to have a problem and everything would playback. Suddenly no video would play back and I only got an error message saying that the codec used to compress the files was not supported by Windows. I converted all of the files to and AVI format thinking that would help but no luck. I tried running the Microsoft Fix It and that only brought the sound back to some but not all  files. The rest still play the error. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

1)   Which fixit are you referring to?


2)   Are you able to play saved sample videos without any issues?
