I have 1 GB RAM, but there is only 356 MB RAM anvaileble. I have unistalled all the programs i diddent need, closed all programs i diddnt use, and i got only 80 MB RAM back (I had first 272 MB RAM anvaileble). So what must do to get more RAM, wich programs could take so much RAM,

Answer

A:

It does matter which RAM you buy. It must be the correct RAM for your motherboard. That's why I suggested you use Crucial's memory finder tool. If you have a home-built/generic-built computer, you need to look at the motherboard manual for what RAM to buy, how much your board supports, and in what combinations it needs to be installed.
