Communicator.exe

how do I, Or where can I find a fix for communicator .exe ? I keep getting a popup saying the communicator.exe has stopped working

What is it?

 

Search the Drive for a File.
Click Start - All Programs - Accessories - Right click Command Prompt and choose Run As Administrator. Type replacing document.docx with the name of the file being searched (or copy and paste by right clicking in the Command Prompt window and choosing Paste).
 
* matches any number of characters incl none.
 
? matches a single character

 

 

To search for document.docx

 

dir c:\document.docx /a /s

 

Would find all doc files (but not docx)

 

dir c:\*.doc /a /s

 

Would find all files starting with d that are excel (xls or xlsx)

 

dir c:\d*.xls* /a /s

 

Would find all files containing dog anywhere in the name of any type

 

dir c:\*dog*.* /a /s

 
Would find all files names ending 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and also 201a, 201b etc.
 
dir c:\*201?.* /a /s
 
To find the year anywhere
 
dir c:\*201?*.* /a /s

Communicator.exe is to do with Office:
