Unable to access windows mail due to errors 0x800CCC90 and 0x800CCC92

I have suddenly been unable to access my e-mails after entering username and password (normally done automatically ) and get error codes 0x800CCC90 and 0x800CCC92.  My ISP (TalkTalk) don't offer support on Windows Mail.    If I've got confused with my password can I reset it...or can I rload Windows Mail without losing my data ?

Hi,

 

Please follow the steps mentioned in the links below.

 

Method 1:

a)       Start the Windows mail email client.

b)       Click "Tools" from the top menu and choose "Accounts".

c)       A pop up will be displayed showing you all the email accounts in Windows Mail. Select the one that's giving you the error and then click the "Properties" button.

d)       Another pop up window shows all the settings associated with this account.

e)       Under the "Servers" tab double check the "E-mail username" and "Password". One of them would definitely be incorrect which is resulting in the Windows Mail error ID 0x800CCC92

f)        To avoid having to enter the username and password each time, check the box in front of "Remember password".

g)       Once you make appropriate changes, click the "Apply" button followed by "OK". Close the other pop-up window

As of now let’s not reinstall Windows Mail, the above mentioned methods should help us.

Completely remove the account. Compact and repair the database and then reboot. Add the account back.
