So we try to recieve mail on our email but when we do it asks for our user name and password. We enter it and it doesnt accept it and now we get this error code. Log on to your Charter webmail site. Confirm your username and password there.
NOTE : In the case of Charter.net , Password entry is case sensitive. MUST match exactly.
Send an e-mail there.
If they are all checked out, and able to send while you are in the Charter website, then it is your anti-virus (AV) acting up.
If your AV has e-mail scanning option running, disable that option. now try to send.
If you still encounter problem, disable the entire AV and see if you can send this time.
