Windows and Grade Quick

Some of our teachers are experiencing difficulty using Grade Quick (Edline) whehter they are using Windows Vista or Windows 7. One day it works and the next day it does not. We followed Edline's suggestion to uninstall the Grade Quick plugin and reinstall it but that only solved 1 teacher's problem and 6 other teachers still cannot access their gradebooks. Edline insists that it is a Windows issue. Does anyone have a solution?

Hi Dr. Joan,

 

1.      What happens when you try accessing GradeQuick?

2.      Are you using Internet Explorer to access GradeQuick?

3.      Do you get any error?

 

Since one of the computers is working fine after reinstalling the GradeQuick plugin, you may try doing that again on others.

 

Check to see if the following helps. Note that these steps are only for Internet Explorer.

 

Step 1: Run the Automated Troubleshooter to check for the issue.

Improve performance, safety and security in Internet Explorer - Windows Vista

Open the Internet Explorer Performance troubleshooter - Windows 7

 

Step 2:  If this does not help, try Optimizing Internet Explorer.
