I have a LaCie external hard drive that I am trying to hook up via USB 2.0. The hard drive has been formatted on a Mac using FAT32 for DOS (this is supposed to be readable by PC and Mac). It works fine on the Mac.
The drive does not show up on my "Computer" page in Vista. Some reference to the drive does show up on the Device Manager. I have updated the driver within Device Manager to no avail (it claimed to be updated). I notice nowhere in Device Manager does it
reference LaCie- but it does show what should be the correct amount of disk space.
LaCie's website has been absolutely zero help.
I have recently just completed the service pack update to Vista.
