Original title: problem ejecting mass storage device...

getting windows error message adv that it cant stop generic F due to program still running....tried task manager and nothing showing...using toshiba external hard drive...any clues?

Hi,

 

This behavior can occur there are open handles with any files in the USB Mass Storage Device are in use by another program.

 

I would suggest you to refer to the article and perform the steps mentioned over there.

Note: The steps mentioned in the article are applicable for Windows Vista Operating System as well.
