When I try to unzip a file I default to Adobe Reader, which is wrong program. I have Windows Vista Home Premium. Do I need to download a program to zip and unzip compressed files?

I run Windows Office 2007. And find that when try to extract a .zip file, I get Adobe Reader which tells me in can't read the file (of course). So where is the program for unzipping files. Do I need to download one?
