Can't rename folders. folder or file does not exist error.

Hi, I am trying to rename folders that i create, doesnt matter where, desktop documents, music, anywhere i create a new folder and try to rename it i get a window that pops up saying folder or file does not exist. what on earth!!

i have just installed vista and then done all windows updates then this happened, was working perfectly fine before.

The reg files in Step Two are meant restores default values in the registry so it won't hurt if you try them.

Or you can try System Restore to a date before the problem occured.
