Cannot Compress (zip) files

The Windows Help and Support options gives instructions on how to compress (zip) files.  Below is what it says.  But when I right click a file/files and point to Send To, I don't see a choice to sent to compressed (zip) folder.
My computer is fairly new, and I would think I should be able to use the Help and Support option.
Please help me to figure this out.
To compress a file or folder
  1. Locate the file or folder that you want to compress.

  2. Right-click the file or folder, point to Send To, and then click Compressed (zipped) Folder.

A new compressed folder is created. To rename it, right-click the folder, click Rename, and then type the new name.
