Windows Vista. All of a sudden Windows Media Player cannot open wmv files sent via emails. Used to open and play these files all the time. Please help

Windows Vista.  Always opened and played all wmv files sent to me via email attachments.  Now the windows media trys to open the wmv files but cannot.  Message is cannot open file.  What has happened and can it be fixed.

Maybe the WMV are not accociated with WMP.

You can try saving the attachments to a folder then go there and run the file.
