How to resize Windows Sidebar

I want to resize the sidebar on my desktop, to make it wider. Anyone know how to do this??

Hi,

Right Click blank area of Sidebar - Properties - Lower left "How do I customize Windows Sidebar"

Scroll down to :

Then :

Can I change the width of Sidebar?

No, the width of Sidebar is a fixed size. However, you can detach gadgets from the sidebar and place them anywhere on the desktop.

  • Right-click the gadget you want to detach, and then click Detach from Sidebar.

  • Drag the gadget to the location you want on the desktop.
