Hi Pelps,

• How are you trying to turn off high contrast on the computer?


To turn off the high contrast, try the below steps.

1. Open the Make the computer easier to see page by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Ease of Access, clicking Ease of Access Center, and then clicking Make the computer easier to see.
2. Under High Contrast, you will need to uncheck all the options under “High contrast

You may also use the keyboard to turn off.
1. To use a keyboard to turn High Contrast on or off, select the Turn on High Contrast when left ALT + left SHIFT + PRINT SCREEN is pressed check box.

Halima's option is great but sometimes it doesn't work, if you are using widnows vista then the following steps will resolve the issue.

go to Control panel>Personalization in that click on Window color and appearance and change the color scheme to the option of your choice that removes the high contrast issue.
