SIMPLY, AS YOU CAN SEE ALL MY TEXT APPEARS AS CAPS DESPITE CAP LOCK BEING OFF. THIS EFFECTS MY ENTIRE SURFACE, NOT JUST ONE PROGRAM. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.
Have you made any changes to the computer prior to this issue?
This issue might occur if the caps locks are enabled from on-screen keyboard or due to keyboard settings.
Try the following methods and check if it helps.
Method 1:
a) Swipe click on the bottom left side corner of the desktop
b) Select “control panel.”
c) Open “Languages” and select “Advanced Settings”.
d) Click on “Change language bar hot keys” option under “Switching input methods”
e) Select “Advanced key settings” options from “Text services and input languages” window.
Here you will find the settings to release/disable the CAPS lock option by pressing shift keys.
Method 2:
I would suggest you to check on-screen keyboard settings.
Turn Caps Lock on and off by double-tapping the Up Arrow key.
