Windows Update Error: Code 80070424

And to think this all started with an iTunes installation issue...

About 2 days ago, I posted a question on the Apple Support forums after I found out, unfortunately, that after uninstalling iTunes, I couldn't reinstall it, as I got a WEIRD error code trying to. This thread is pretty self-explanatory, and describes most of the problem I just found out I've had almost since I bought this laptop in mid-August.

The link provides a screen capture of the error message I get with iTunes, and the code in the title of this thread I get is the code I get when I try to update.

Hopefully, the Apple thread is sufficient enough. If anybody needs any more information for me, let me know. I'll be happy to provide all the information I can to resolve this issue. :/
