Operating System is Vista.  I have not made any recent changes to my computer.  The error occurred when I was listening to music in Itunes.  Hope this helps.

Hi,

You may try to set your computer in Clean Boot state.

By setting your system in clean boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue.
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7:

Note: After clean boot troubleshooting step, follow Step 7 in the provided link to return your computer to Normal startup mode.

1, I am using Windows 7. I believe that the latest updates are installed.

2, No.

3, I get the error message when I try to run iTunes.  I uninstalled iTunes and associated programs and downloaded and installed the latest version.  I get the same run time error message.
