Cannot get omron bp791it drivers to upload to Healthvault?

I cannot seem to get omron bp791it to upload to healthvault?
I just bought the bp791it and conatced Omron for a driver. Thye advised me that there is a driver available for the bp791it, and it has been submitted to Mircosoft. They said Micorsoft has to release it as an update to the connection center. They do not know when Micorosft will do the relase, do the good news , it is coming.

I have the same issue.   Seems Omron has advertised the BP791IT as a flagship unit that is compatible with HealthVault, however they had not prepared a software driver.   Other posts I read say a driver has been submitted to Microsoft for verification/validation/certification?   However, here we wait.

I called Omron again on May 27, they said they have no estimate on Microsoft validating their dirver. When I pushed him, he said they told them it would be a few months, but he said that was several months ago.   Ugh!

So, here we are in December 2011, AND STILL NO ANSWER to this very realistic question.

I just dropped a ben on this flagship model that, LOW AND BEHOLD, isn't even recognized by MS HealthVault... imagine that.

Can't even add it manually.  Pft!

Alright MS, get your heads outta your arses and ADD THE stinkin BP791IT TO THE LIST OF RECOGNIZED DEVICES!!!

This folks, is why I have a Mac, and several Linux based systems in my home.  MS is good for Gaming, and that's it!

As with most things in life, it's not what you know it's who you know. In this case the "who" is actually a where, as in where to post. If you are trying to leave feedback on a Microsoft program or function there are numerous places to do that...this is not one of them. Microsoft Answers is a peer to peer forum where the majority of community members are not Microsoft employees, but rather part of a knowledgeable computing community dedicated to helping each other find solutions to computer issues. So posting here doesn't constitute speaking to a Microsoft employee.  The program you are using should have a Microsoft support number on it, I would suggest calling that number or using the link below:

http://support.microsoft.com/select/Default.aspx?target=assistance

Also, if you are wanting to leave feedback on a Microsoft product,  I would suggest posting at the Microsoft Connect Forum. That site has been established as a sounding board for customers concerning various Microsoft products.

hope this helps,
