WTVConverter issue with multiple audio streams...

The WTVConverter that MSFT includes in Windows 7 does not handle multiple audio streams correctly. The WTVConverter when converting from ".wtv" format to ".dvrms" instead of keeping the main audio stream keeps the  alternate visually-impaired audio stream. Usually it keeps the alternate visually-impaired audio stream. NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles from CBS programs are having this issue since they include SAP signals(Accessibility options for blind and visually-impaired)

How do I say to WTVConverter to include only the main audio instead of the visually-impaired audio stream

Thanks
Chandra

Answer

Hello, Chandra

If you feel there should be an option to select a stream when converting, you can leave feedback at the following link:http://mymfe.microsoft.com/Windows%207/Feedback.aspx?formID=195

Additionally, you may try searching for a free alternative program to convert WTV files.

If you can't fix it with duct tape, you haven't used enough.
