Hi,

1.       Which operating system is installed on the computer?

2.       What is the exact issue with the computer?

Step 1: Make a restore point.

Refer: Create a restore point:

http://windows.microsoft.com/is-IS/windows7/Create-a-restore-point

Step 2: You may refer the following steps and see if that helps.

Add these users back to the Users group and restart Internet Information Services (IIS):

a. Click Start, open control panel, Programs, administrative tools, and click Computer Management to open the Computer Management console.

b. In the left pane, expand Local Users and Groups, and click the Groups folder.

c. In the right pane, right-click the Users group and click Properties.

d. Click Add.

e. In the Select Users or Groups dialog box, locate Look in drop-down box and choose the local computer.

f. Select Authenticated Users and click Add.

g. Select INTERACTIVE and click Add.

h. Click OK, click Apply, and click Close to close the properties for the Users group.

i. In the left pane, expand Services and Applications and click Services.

j. In the right pane, right-click IIS Admin Service and click Restart.

k. In the Restart Other Services confirmation dialog box, click Yes.

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/support/ee/transform.aspx?ProdName=Windows+Operating+System&ProdVer=5.2&EvtID=10010&EvtSrc=DCOM&LCID=1033 explains how to get details of the problem but on W2012 server, one should replace "HKCR\Clsid\clsid value\localserver32" with "HKCR\Wow6432Node\CLSID\{GUID}".
