Can't login to my Shutterfly account

I have no idea what topic this should go under so just made a "best guess". Apologies if it's in the wrong place.

I can no longer access my Shutterfly account using the logon credentials I have always used since the account was created years ago.

I added the email I used for Shutterfly to the Microsoft account as my logon email but that didn't help. I would really like access to my photos on my PC. I have no trouble accessing Shutterfly through the app on my tablet. The only roadblock is via my browser.

Looks like if I use www.shutterfly.com instead of shutterfly.com, I can get where I want to be. 

This brings me to another question: Is Shutterfly part of MS now?
