Help setting up new bluetooth speakers

Hi I received an IHOME iDM12 Bluetooth Speker as a gift and am trying to use with my computer. I purchase a rockfish micro bluetooth adapter and installed.

Devise was detected and paired I know this because when I press pause on devise (Speaker) it pauses windows media player. The problem is Iget no sound out of bluetooth spearkers. Am i miising some set up steps" I see both the devises in Devises and printers and have tried everything but still no sound.

·         Do you get any error message?

·         Which version of operating system is installed on the computer?

Follow these methods.

Method 1: Run the audio troubleshooter.

Open the Playing Audio troubleshooter

Method 2: Scan for hardware changes. Follow the steps:

a)    Click start, type device manager on the start search box and press enter.

b)    Right click on Sound, video and game controllers and click scan for hardware changes.

Method 3: Follow the steps:

Step 1: Check the status of the speakers and headphones in playback devices. If it is disabled enable it. Follow the steps:

a)    Right click on the volume icon in the system tray on the right corner on the desktop.

b)    Select playback devices and enable the speakers and headphones if it is disabled.

Step 2: Set speakers as default device and check.

a)    Right click on the volume icon in the system tray on the right corner on the desktop.

b)    Select playback devices, right click and set speakers as default device.
