Uninstall Shield Error 432 when trying to install a game

Whenever i try to Install my video games onto my vista it goes inot setup and then it displays a message saying: Setup has detected that Uninstallshield is in use.Please close uninstallshield and restart setup

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Vista Forum.

To resolve  the issue you can try these steps:

1> Make sure you have full administrative privileges on your computer

2> Make sure no other applications (including anti-virus software), installations, or processes are running in the background.

3> Verify that two instances of the setup are not running.
a. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete.
b. Select Task Manager.
c. Select the Processes tab.
d. Look for _INSXXXX._MP. Where XXXX are numbers. If there are two similar (they do not have    to be the same) processes running, select one and click End Process.
e. Select Yes to the Task Manager Warning dialog.

4> Detect if a copy of IsUninst.exe is running, if so end the task.
a. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete.
b. Select Task Manager.
c. Select the Processes tab.
d. Look for IsUninst.exe. If it is running, select it and click End Process.
e. Select Yes to the Task Manager Warning dialog.

5> Delete all instances of IsUninst.exe.

a. Using Windows Explorer browse to C: \Windows or C:\WINNT.
b. Locate IsUninst.exe.
c. Right-click the file and select Delete.
d. If IsUninst.exe cannot be deleted because it is in use, reboot the machine and try again.

6> Run the install locally by copying the installation files to your local hard drive.

a. Using Windows Explorer browse to the location of the installation files. For example, if    the installation is on a CD, browse to the CD-ROM drive.

b. Copy the contents of the installation location.
c. Temporarily paste them to a location on the local hard drive. For example, the Desktop.
d. Run the install file, setup.exe or install.exe.
