Unable to install FSHOTSFX software on Windows 7 64 bit.

Original Title: Error:91 Object variable or With block variable not set__And Error:429 ActiveX component can't create object

Folks:

I need your help. I own a registered copy of FSHOTSFX program.  I have this program runing very well, on 64bit windows xp pro .
But I have been unable to run it , since i migrated to 64bit windows 7 home premium edition. Unfortunately the program manufacturer does not offer support services anymore. The sad thing is that virtually all of my 32bit programs from way back to windows 98 are working well on 64bit windows 7.
You can download a free install copy of this program for testing here:http://fshotseat.com/dl/FSHSFXFull11.asp

Here is the error message i am getting when i open the program:

<< Fshotsfx failed to load properly. check the Fshotsfx.log file in the install directory. If you do not understand the error codes, email the log toEmail removed for privacy
Fshotsfx will end now..>>

then after clicking ok, I get the following message:

<< Run-time error '91': object variable or with block variable not set. >>

the after clicking ok, the program shuts down.
Thank you for your help.
Frank.

Answer

Hello Frank,

I have installed the program successfully.  The files are going to be located in a Zip Folder,  Please extract the content of the folder.  Once the contents of the folder has been extracted, right click on the Windows Installer package and go to Properties.  There should be a Compatibility Tab.  Be sure to run this program in compatibility mode and proceed with the installation.  If this program is still not able to be installed, you would have to proceed with obtaining a 64 bit version of the software.  If you would please follow up with me at your convenience, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,

Aaron
