Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 will load but not run. Message- need Windows 98SE or 2000 or better.

Trying to install Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08. I was able to load however when I try to run get error message need Windows 98SE or 2000 or better. I Have better but I may need to find another way for the program to recognize it. Please help.

I understand that you have difficulty in installing Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 on your computer. I would definitely help you in installing the game.

 

-          Which version of Operating System is installed on your computer?

 

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 game is compatible with Widows Vista and XP. If you have any other Operating System installed on your computer, then I would suggest you to install the game in Compatibility mode.

 

Follow these steps to install the game in Compatibility mode.

b.      Right click on the game setup file and select “Properties”.

c.       Select “Compatibility” Tab.

d.      Place a check mark next to "Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select previous version of Windows supported by the game, from the drop down list.

e.      Then click on “Apply” and “Ok” option.

f.        Then install the game.

I was just away to ask the exact question I have the same problem. I do not understand as I have windows 8.1 and the message reads when I try to run that i need windows98SE 2000 or better, obviously I have better and an up to date version. Do you have any idea why this message would come up when I'm running windows 8.1. I will try to do the same advice thanx for your time
